We are all experiencing a difficult time. The COVID-19 virus has affected and will affect all people around the world, and we must all do whatever we can to get through this global crisis situation. It is not only our personal lives that are affected, it is also our business. It is safe to say that all businesses, no matter size or industry, will be affected by this. 19-03-2020
We have already experienced the consequences of COVID-19 in China, which resulted in a complete shutdown of our production companies from mid-January to mid-February. AVK’s factories in China are now back in production and at normal capacity. Safety of employees is still a main concern for us and we continue the recommended safety precautions to prevent the virus from reemerging. From China, we learnt that we need to take COVID-19 seriously and to take responsibility for the safety of our employees. Thanks to a dedicated effort from everyone, we got through the difficult situation in China.
The COVID-19 is now a reality in all parts of the world, and this affects our companies, employees and business partners all around the world. However, we will do whatever we can to keep our business operational. AVK is a global company with dedicated people in our companies worldwide. We have strong local operating companies supported by a global supply chain. This will enable us to serve our customers in all parts of the world even in difficult times like this.
We take responsibility of our employees’ safety. We have taken all necessary precautions in all our production facilities and offices. All our companies follow local regulations and stay updated on guidelines and regulations from local authorities, and we are in constant dialogue with our companies.
As a family-owned company, we have strong values, a long term strategy and dedicated employees, and I am convinced that we will get through this together as one AVK – even stronger than before.
