Take control of your assets with AVK Assist
Network management and asset mapping are two areas highlighted as ongoing issues and industry-wide challenges for water utilities. Recognising there is a need for a solution to solve the problem, AVK has developed the AVK Assist App for asset management both for onsite handling and back at the office.
AVK Assist: Mobile Application
The mobile application is designed to allow easy asset tracking and asset data sharing in the field. It can be used on both iOS and Android phones. The application is made up of four features:
- AVK Insight
- AVK Toolbox
- AVK AR (Augmented Reality)
- About AVK
With AVK Insight you can quickly track assets in a simple and user-friendly way. You can track assets from AVK by using the QR code on the asset label, while third-party assets can be registered, manually. In addition, AVK Assist is used for installation and provisioning of AVK Smart Water products. The application also provides a set of tools that simplify the calculation of technical, energy and environmental key variables.
In extension of assets tracking, AVK Assist also allows customers to have a look inside AVK products with the AR feature. Finally, you will also be able to gain greater insight into the creation of AVK through the About AVK feature. It provides a global locator of our Global AVK facilities to ensure you can always get hold of us to support you wherever you are on the planet.
AVK Assist: Web Customer Portal
The AVK Assist web customer portal gives you a map and list overview of all recorded assets gathered by the mobile application by providing additional installation details of the assets in the installation summary. The summary contains all information added through the QR code, and the notes added by the installer under the installation such as product type, size, material, GPS coordinates, working pressure, picture, and any comments.
Furthermore, you can easily add and assign installers to the platform. It is also possible to export data in AVK Assist web customer portal by using a common file format (.CSV) to integrate into existing IT systems such as GIS, and operation or maintenance systems. The web portal is designed to be accessed from any device with an internet connection including mobiles, tablets, laptops, and PCs.
